Your tasks:

Setup, administer and support MySQL databases servers for Production, QA and Development.
Installation, configuration, access management and upgradation of MySQL database.
Proactively monitor and troubleshoot the MySQL database for performance, bottlenecks and other issues to ensure services with minimum downtime.
Design and create database objects such as data table structures, stored procedures, views, triggers, etc.
Create/refine database complex SQL queries, indexes, stored procedures, etc. for helping the developers.
Perform appropriate backup, restoration and upgrades of database servers.

Your Profile:

Strong SQL queries and query speed optimization skills.
Minimum 3 years of working experience with MySQL.
Experience in performance tuning and database monitoring tools.
Good working knowledge of ALL backup and recovery scenarios.
Experience in installation and configuration of DB server on Linux (Ubuntu).
Hands on with Linux scripting, and DigitalOcean or similar cloud based infrastructure.
